SYMPTOMS
After working on this vehicle the "VDC Off" light is on, in the instrument cluster. How can this be corrected and what would cause it to come on?

CAUSE
Disconnecting the battery on this vehicle will reset the VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) system and cause the "VDC Off" light to come on

RESOLUTION
If the battery was disconnected and the "VDC Off" light is on the system will have to be re calibrated. Simply drive the vehicle at over 10 mph until the light turns off. This should take about 10 minutes. This recalibration procedure is described in the Owner's Guide for the vehicle.
